Summertime has officially started here in the Midwest and for me, that means it's time to switch up my bag and my skincare.

One of the biggest things I have added to my skincare routine is the NeoStrata Bionic Face Serum 10 Bionic. It's a concentrated daily-use serum formulated to restores skin radiance and amplifies the benefits of other antiaging products. This amazing serum helps fight fine lines, wrinkles, pore size, laxity, and mottled pigmentation. First, I apply the NeoStrata Bionic Face Serum, let it dry then, I add my face cream, I still use and love BelAir Formula No.1 and lastly a light sunscreen. I have also stopped using a foundation all together. I place a few drops of concealer to problem spots and under my eyes and set with a loose powder, that's it I am done! I really love this serum because it can be applied to target areas such as eyes or around the mouth, as an all-over facial treatment, plus you can use it alone or layered under other product like I do. And if you have sensitive skin it has no Fragrance or Dyes. 

Now that I am 30-something I am investing more in my skincare and using fewer products with quality ingredients. This product is definitely a splurge-worthy purchase and note a little goes a long way one or two pumps and you are good. My skin is softer, my pores are smaller and yes I am fighting those age lines and crows feet before they appear. The best offense is a good defense. Plus I really don't want to get botox ever, haha I am not a big fan of needles. The other things I have added to my summer skincare routine is a lot less makeup altogether, I now subscribe to Jeremy Renner's make-up tipsBrows-Lashes-Lips "Frame the Face". I use E.L.F Eyebrow Kit Light, Almay Intense i-color Volumizing Mascara in Plum, and Maybelline Super Stay 24-Hour Lipstick in "Keep Up The Flame".  I love all of these products and they don't cost a fortune, and you can find them at your local drugstore. Five minutes and I am done out the door and ready for the day. For a night look, I add eyeshadow, blush, and a little highlighter on my lip bow and the bridge of my nose. The highlighter really gives the pop I look for in glamming up my look. 

I have also purchased a travel size body spray, Walgreens is the perfect spot for these little extras. Blotting paper is awesome for hot days to help dry up any extra oil. One of the other favorite things I have just added to my summer tote is Evian Facial Spray.  Water is so important for your skin and the Evian Facial Spray helps moisturize, refresh, and tone skin. Plus it's super adorable and I like feeling fancy. haha, Mom's need a little fancy every now and again. Speaking of water I am trying to drink more of it, especially in the summer sun so I carry an adorable reusable water bottle everywhere I go and a great snack, for the time when I don't have a moment in my crazy schedule to sit down and eat. I also found this fun tote at Target in the dollar bin for 3 bucks! You cannot beat that. It's the perfect size I can add a towel or sweater for whatever the adventure.
