A Look Back on 2017 and A Look Forward into 2018

As I leave 2017 behind I will say there are a lot of things I am glad to say good-bye too, but there were so many amazing moments for The Daily Bubbly and me personally. So instead of focusing on the negative, I want to take on 2018 with nothing but positive vibes.

2017 was a year of wonder for The Daily Bubbly. I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful this year has been. I have been able to work with amazing brands like Amara Living, Rodial, and Tobi, just to name a few. Plus we have traveled to the ocean, hit major cities on our epic road trip across country and relaxed seaside off coastal islands. We have had our struggles along the way like leaving our family and friends to move to a brand new city. It's scary, stressful and a bit lonely, but with the love and support from those around us we are settling in just fine.

I know for most people 2017 hasn't turned out the way they would have liked, a lot of terrible things have happened in the world and with our politics but we really need to focus on what we can change. Supporting local and state government, volunteering to clean up our local communities and most of all exercising compassion for one another. I challenge you to change the space around you and by doing so it will change the world. I know it seems small but small things add up, so let's keep adding. Compassion, a little time and just listening will make a huge difference maybe not tomorrow but the truth is, only a little bit of snow starts an avalanche.

I looked back at my vision board for 2017 and I realized that the visions for my board were big, really big and that is okay, there was a big house, expensive car, and rock hard abs. None of which came to fruition, did I really think I was going to hit the gym every day...  haha maybe this year. And as I look at it, it doesn't seem silly just out of focus. I was focused on a grand picture instead of achievable moments. So this year I refocused on where and with whom I want to spend my time. Because time is far more valuable than money, I know the world wants you to believe another but you cannot get time back you can always get more money. You can work an extra job, live below your means, sell things you don't use but the time you cannot make more of it. You can only lose it, spend it, forget about it, or cherish it which is what I am going to do this year.

I am really excited for 2018 to spend more time with family and friends and growing The Daily Bubbly. I have new brands I am working with and I will be starting a YouTube channel! I am excited to focus on making wherever we are home and centering myself with exercise. Let go of stress and things I cannot change and embracing the thing I hate the most... saving money =( Hopefully the saving money part will send my husband and me on a much-needed vacation. Can a girl dream, right?

So let's embrace this year with the compassion everyone and everything desire. We will hold ourselves accountable to be our best selves day in and day out. From my family to yours have a Happy and Healthy 2018!
