Hey Bubbly Tribe, it's your girl, Sarah. I am super excited to chat about 17 great items to upgrade your kitchen and life. For the past few months, I have been making some simple lifestyle changes that not only benefit my family but the planet as well. These small and easy changes make a large impact in keeping my family safe, our world cleaner and most important are cruelty-free.

One of the first items I switched out is my dish rags. No more sponges here, instead I upgraded to bamboo fiber dish towels. The bamboo fiber material has a light scent of bamboo and no other irritating odors. They are more natural and safer to use than sponges. Bamboo is a strong material that holds up after multiple uses. Which leads me to my next item a set of eight kitchen utensils made from bamboo and silicone. They have a food-grade BPA free non-scratch silicone head is ideal for protecting your expensive cooking pots, pans, and dishes from damage. The heat resistance cooking tools can withstand temperatures of up to 480F. The utensils have an ergonomic bamboo handle for ease of grip and safe cooking. I have three items on my list that are made from bamboo. This extra-large cutting board from Royal is absolutely awesome, it also doubles as a serving tray!

One of the items I think I was most excited to upgrade to was reusable silicone food storage bags, no more plastic in this kitchen. I did some research and found these awesome FDA-approved food-grade silicone and contain no BPA, PVC, BPF, no phthalate. non-allergenic, non-reactive, non-toxic. It's been so interesting to read about how many items in our home are hazardous to our health, the environment and to animals. However, it's never been easier or cheaper to make these simple upgrades. This next item is for all of the moms or lunch packers our there, reusable sandwich bags. I found a great set on MightyNest. They are not only adorable but a great alternative to disposable plastic baggies. Keeping my kitchen organized is very important to me, along with combating food waste. One of the items I switched out in my home is my food storage containers. I brought 16 pieces set of #Magicdo containers with east snap lids. It's important to keep food fresh for as long as possible. These containers contain no BPA, phthalates or other toxins to leach into food. They are leak-proof with a 4-hinge locking system forms an airtight, watertight seal between container and lid. This next device for me is fun and a food saver. I really hate it when I buy a bag of chips or popcorn from the store, eat a few, close it up, and a few days later my snack is stale. So I found an adorable mini portable heat sealer. It's eco-friendly, easy to use and safe. No more double bagging your items, which is wasteful, just open and then reseal when you're done.

These next two products aren't for the kitchen but the grocery store, reusable produce bags. I found a set of 11 cotton mesh washable produce bags in a variety of sizes for all my grocery needs. The cotton is biodegradable and environmental-friendly. Using these pure cotton produce bags instead of plastic bags when shopping helps to protect the earth and produces less waste. I also found this amazing Big Ant Car Trunk Organizer it's Multipurpose Collapsible and the center compartment is a cooler, it's perfect for grocery shopping or family car trips. This last garget isn't for the kitchen it's more for the living room. This adorable portable Arm Sofa Tray keeps all my snack and drinks safe and in arms reach for maximum comfort. The design fits any couch arm and the non-slip grip top keeps everything in its place. everything in its place.

I really never realized how much what we do matters to the world around us. But also how easy it is the change little things we do or buy. There are a lot of great online stores like MightyNest, Brandless, and Amazon that are giving us alternatives to what we already know and buy. We as the consumer have to make the changes, we have to demand the changes. Because the truth is if we don't no one will. Knowledge of what we buy, how it's made and what it does to the world around makes an enormous difference.
